Default Florida - Advice?

I'm actually looking for advice, I hope this is the right place! I'm in Florida, and we're going to the Everglades and possibly the Keys for my birthday on the 21st. Last time I was down there, I saw a tree full of banana roaches, but didn't find them anywhere else. I wasn't able to search very thoroughly at the time, so I was wondering if there are any good areas, times of day, etc. I should look to find them? Are there any plants they tend to hang out around the most? I figure shining a flashlight at night might attract them.

Other than banana roaches, I'd also like to search for more skunk roaches, which I know tend to hang out in leaf litter at night. And I've NEVER managed to come across any smokybrown roaches, which I'd LOVE to find... I've heard they're very common, but I can't even find any for sale online.

I've never really gone on a "mission" for roaches, I've always happened to find them on walks in the woods or such, so I'm excited to actually try and hunt them down.
